Episode 6: Sex Work with Cara van Park

Hello Bingelings!

For our latest, Binge Thinking got hot and sexy with Feminist and Sex Worker Cara van Park*. Caspar and Cara binged on sex work in Australia, how she entered the industry, navigating consent, the intersection of her feminism and work, stereotypes and shaming, managing her privacy and the belief in individualism and commitment to community. Like all episodes, this is just one person’s story. Many others (particularly people of colour and trans/non-binary workers) may have different experiences of the Sex Industry. That said, this was a fascinating conversation. If these issues piqued your interest, you can check out RhED , Vixen Collective and Scarlet Alliance to learn more. Produced by Nina Roxburgh and featuring music from Big Gigantic. If you like the episode, please tell us! Rate us, review us, leave a comment or send us an email. We want to hear from you!
